Self Pour Beer Taps

THE TABLE TAP

Although beer storage space began with wooden barrels, today dispensing beer from a steel "keg" is the most prominent method of serving beer around the globe. Where some smaller breweries still utilize barrels, metal (frequently stainless steel) kegs have significant benefits in storing, carrying, and also serving the beer. Mostly they are pressurized with co2 (CARBON DIOXIDE). This pressurization forces the beer from the tap (or faucet). Occasionally, some beers are served with a nitrogen/carbon dioxide mix due to the fact that nitrogen creates smaller sized bubbles in the self pouring beer which, then, produces an extremely dense and luscious head. Have you ever came across "beer spheres"? These are smaller, non reusable kegs made use of in some areas of the globe.
